The purpose of our group is to disseminate and educate each other on digital media through interacting with each other and professionals. The other purpose is to become a Siggraph Charter. The mission of Siggraph is to promote the generation and dissemination of information on computer graphics and interactive techniques. My hope is to start a community that is serious about digital media creation. Once our community is solidified, we can begin to discuss, collaborate, help, and cross pollinate amongst each other. It takes many talents to produce good content, so the bigger the community, the more quality products we can create.
